What is 100 Word Song? It’s from My Blog Can Beat Up Your Blog and a song is selected every Tuesday and I have 7 days to respond with my inspired writing. The only rule is there are no rules. Wait. No. The first rule is you don’t talk about the 100 Word Song. Wait. No. Oh yeah. The only rules are it has to be exactly 100 words and it has to be tied to the inspiration of the song.
So I decided to start playing. My entries will be Really, Really Short Stories. Fun, huh?

“I can’t do this anymore,” she sighed and put the crinkled newspaper crossword down.
“This week’s is hard, huh?” It was rare that she asked for his help.
“Not the crossword. This. I can’t do THIS anymore.”
“I’m not following you…”
“Of course you’re not,” she smiled.
The smile second-guessed itself and turned into a sneer, “I’m done with THIS. I’m done with us. It’s not working.”
“So that’s it? You just say you’re done and I leave?” He had never been more confused.
“Yip.” She pulled the key out of her bra and with a click, the chains dropped.
